At Roe Valley Integrated Primary School we strive to support, protect and enhance our ethos of diversity, respect and understanding between those of different cultures and religious beliefs and of none.
In keeping with this ethos, we hosted a ‘RVIPS Coronation Celebration-A Coronation Concert and Picnic’ on Friday 5th May. Each class prepared a piece of music to showcase to our school king, ‘King Sammy’, who had the very difficult job of choosing which class performance he liked best, with Primary 5 being crowned as the winners.
In true RVIPS style we did not let a little bit of rain dampen our celebrations 🌈 Instead of our picnic on the pitch we hosted an indoor picnic in the school hall with the sun coming out in the afternoon just in time for the ice cream van arriving🍦☀️ A wonderful day of celebrating and learning for all. 👏🏻
