P3 The City of Derry Airport

As part of Primary 3’s recent them “Up, Up and Away” the children jetted off to the City of Derry airport.  The children enjoyed the opportunity to view a real plane land/take off, learn about aviation job roles and about the various airport equipment and functions.  The highlight of the day was seeing the airport fire station and receiving the generous City of Derry goodie bags.  A wonderful experience which was enjoyed by all!
