P3 Paired Maths

Primary 3 have just began the 'Paired Maths' programme at school and we have got off to a flying start. The main objective of the programme is to develop numeracy skills through the various elements that make up numeracy as a subject. This is completed in a fun and active way by participating in numeracy games twice a week with a parent or guardian. During class time we explored the games and chose some favourites to try.  We also held a paired maths information session with Primary 3 parents where the children got the opportunity to sign their contracts in preparation for the coming weeks. We cannot wait to hear about all the different games and most importantly the learning the children have experienced.
