Over several weeks Primary 3 have been building on their ICT coding skills knowledge. The class have been exploring our very friendly robots Earl and Botley. Children programmed simple commands to move the robots around a challenge mat, entering commands to make movement or change. Through the Just2Easy turtle application the children were introduced to the concept of an algorithm and used pre-existing commands in the app to make a sprite move, change it’s appearance or direction. The boys and girls enjoyed talking about their challenges and how to improve their coding commands. Technology whizz kids!
