P3 Cookie Excavation
19th Nov 2025
P3 took part in an exciting cookie excavation activity as part of their learning about bones and archaeology. Using tools carefully, the children became archaeologists for the day, delicately excavating the chocolate pieces from their cookies just like uncovering bones at a dig site.
The activity was a huge hit — pupils were fully engaged, developed their observation and fine motor skills, and loved making links to their themed learning. Best of all, after all their hard work, they even got to enjoy eating a cookie at the end! A fun and memorable learning experience for everyone.
