Heart Start - Emergency Life Skills Training

Over the past 2 months Primary 7 have participated in the British Heart Foundation's HEARTSTART UK first aid training programme for young people. This programme has provided us with the skills to keep someone alive in an emergency until professional help arrives. These Emergency Life Skills (ELS) teach us to stay calm and act quickly in difficult situations. We have thoroughly enjoyed the programme and below are a few pictures of our final session on The Resuscitation Procedure.
