Bonjour!
Happy European Day of Languages! Each year on the 26th of September people across the world celebrate European Day of Languages to raise awareness of different cultures. Primary 3 began the day by learning the phrases hello and goodbye in 6 different languages including German, French and Italian! We then enjoyed tasting a range of yummy foods from European countries. Mrs Ash was so impressed that everyone tried the more unusual cheeses and delicious salami meats! Christina our language specialist called in to see our fantastic Spanish face labelling activity. She then taught us colours in French - we played a version of 'find me' which was so much fun! To end the day we looked at the artist Matisse and created our own collage using simple shapes. What a brilliant day!
