Being Green but not so clean!

Primary four got of to a busy start welcoming spring and the sun shine by doing some 'Eco Friendly' planting to celebrate Green day! Our school as a whole decided to celebrate being 'Green' and together planted sunflowers in some very unusual pots. Instead of using our normal planting pots we recycled some old containers from home, and some interesting ideas did come to mind. The children got creative in Primary four and brought in some yogurt pots, watering cans, milk cartons, sweetie boxes and even a straw hat! We had lots of fun wearing our green colours and even had time to have some St Patrick's day celebrations also with a few brave individuals from P4 showing us their Irish dancing skills. Such a fun day in Roe Valley IPS!
