We had the best day ever celebrating World Book Day. We created book characters from potatoes at home and brought them into school - it was so cool seeing everyone's creations! It is safe to say P2 are a very creative bunch. Our buddies from P6 popped in to see us this morning and shared some of our favourite stories with us. We then enjoyed a very special storytelling session with local author (and P2 Dad) Colin Ash who read us not one, but three of his fantastic books!!! To finish off our celebrations we worked together as a team to create a book inspired classroom door to enter into the World Book Day door competition... can you guess what book our door is based on? A fabulous, super busy, super creative day for all involved!
