UNICEF Day for Change 2012

On Wed 20th June, our school will be supporting UNICEF's Day for Change and we very much hope that you will join us in supporting this worthwhile, fun and educational event. It is a great opportunity for pupils to learn about and raise money for children in other parts of the world. The idea is very straightforward - in return for a donation of £2 to help UNICEF's vital work, your child will join the pupils and staff of the school in holding a Silly Olympics.

Each class shall create two wacky, original events which they shall all participate in throughout the day. They shall be provided with a snack surrounding the theme of the Olympics and will complete activities in class about Uganda, informing the children about life for young people there. Your child can wear any sports gear they would like to wear on this day - you can be as adventurous as you like!
